Founded in 1987, our kennels are named for the meteorlogical condition of a colorful prism of light in the late afternoon fall skies once pointed out by my late grandfather to my father who then passed it on to me.
Sundog Kennels is located on the pristine Webb Farm and Shooting Grounds, nestled in among 11 duck ponds and miles of gently rolling quail terrain in the rural Sanhills of North Carolina. Sundog Kennels is a genuine bastion of gundog craftsmanship. Our mission is to train fine, hard-going, and obedient gundogs that are characteristic of our historic Southern waterfowling and upland traditions.
